Networking is about pooling the resources and talents of many to achieve a greater good or success that can not be achieved by any one participant alone. The Northwest Kansas Health Alliance is a network of twenty critical access hospitals that have come together with the region’s primary provider of acute and critical care services to achieve this level of synergy. The ultimate goals of the Alliance are to preserve access to high quality patient care on a local level and to realize a greater potential for efficiency and effectiveness through collaboration and resource sharing.

This goal is achieved through a number of initiatives. The list of opportunities and successes grows every day as the 20 member hospitals identify new ways to realize the benefits that networking can create.
